motivation vs habit

A 100-Day Project

A 100-Day project is not really a new thing.  Basically, it is a commitment to do something every day for 100 days.  It could be simple, like reading or getting some exercise.  It could be creative like starting to write a book or taking 1 picture every day.  Perhaps you want to develop a good habit (talking to new people) or getting rid of a bad habit (quitting smoking).

This is NOT to be confused with the 100 Days of School project where kids use 100 somethings to make a piece of "art" for school.

In my opinion, a 100-Day project is about action.  Getting up and doing something because at the end of 100 days, you will be a better person.

I have known about web design since the late 1990s.  I have seen a lot of great ideas executed by a lot of great people produce a lot of great results.  Steve Chou is a blogger/entrepreneur that claims to have built a blog that generates $1,000,000 of revenue per year.  That's pretty good for a project that he started 7 years ago.  Are you on-track at your current job to get a $100k raise in 7 years?  I should also mention that he and his wife started an online business that grossed over $100,000 in it's first year.

My 100-Day Project will be to post/write 100 articles on this blog, one each day for the next 100 days.  Follow along and let me know what kind of things you are interested in because I intend to build a resource that can help husbands, wives, mothers, and fathers develop not just a more efficient family, but a more effective one.
